Mila Haffkine is from Ukraine. She is in Los Angeles on a temporary visa. She lives with a family right next to this Orthodox church. Mila greeted me in her blue t-shirt and patterned leggings. She surprised me by agreeing to take some photos in this "frumpy" attire. Right then, I knew that I was dealing with an open-minded person that could handle my strangeness. Happy Victory Day.
