I took these photos of Sydney Hallek at a time while I was thoroughly inspired by Terry Richardson's coffee table photo book, Terryworld. I found it in a clearance stack for $10 at Barnes and Noble. The book is filled with photos of sexual indulgence, depravity, and oddity. To me, it conveyed the wild essence of freedom and the lengths that an artist will go to for his work. One could argue that Terryworld is just aimed at shock appeal, but I view the book as a middle finger to conformity, which I have always been a sucker for. But I digress. Sydney was fun to shoot and even demonstrated her dubstep dance moves. If you have ever seen a pretty girl dance to this music before, you will agree that you do not need to see it twice. Dubstep fail, just my prerogative.
